Hello!

My name is Caitlin and I’m an artist, illustrator, designer, and author. I created The Illuminated Tarot, Dreamer’s Journal, and The Happy Houseplant, published by Clarkson Potter. I’m a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and have been a guest illustration critic and lecturer at Maryland Institute College of Art, Pratt Institute, School of Visual Arts, and RISD. Prior to freelancing, I worked for Sesame Workshop under the title Senior Designer, Print and Licensing. I still sometimes freelance for Sesame Workshop as a designer, illustrator, and art director. I was also a designer for Nickelodeon Magazine.

When I’m not illustrating, I might be sewing, caring for my many houseplants, visiting a museum or botanic garden, or spending quality time with my cat Diego, a “foster fail” from Paul the Cat Guy. I find city life really inspiring and Brooklyn has been my home since 2003.
