The Illuminated Art Series
Published by Clarkson Potter
The Illuminated Tarot started as a personal project where I illustrated one card per week for about a year. The deck has 52 cards that follow the structure of a standard playing card deck, plus one Joker (The Fool) so it can be used for both tarot readings and card games.
The deck was later expanded into a series that includes a dream journal, a tarot journal that can be used with any deck, a coloring book, a two-deck playing card set, and a 1000-piece puzzle. A self-published guidebook is also available.
The Illuminated Tarot: 53 Cards for Divination and Gameplay
The Illuminated Tarot folds tarot’s Major and Minor Arcana archetypes together to make a 53-card deck that can be used for both gameplay and tarot. The set contains an illustrated booklet with keywords and a short intro to reading the cards.
The Illuminated Tarot Guidebook
This guidebook applies to The Illuminated Tarot and the Illuminated Playing Cards set, as both have the same illustrations. The book includes detailed image descriptions, suit- and number-based card interpretations, and questions for reflection or journaling.
The introduction includes an overview of The Illuminated Tarot's relationship to traditional 78-card decks and historical background on tarot and cartomancy.
Available in print and digital editions.
Dreamer’s Journal: An Illustrated Guide to the Subconscious
This journal includes an illustrated dream dictionary and lined pages for recording your dreams. The dictionary section includes detailed illustrated spreads to spark ideas about the meaning of places, roles and occupations, and animals in your dreams.
This two-deck set is a smaller, playing card-sized version of The Illuminated Tarot deck. The illustrations are the same but recolored with a more limited palette, and the cards are printed with gold metallic ink. The set includes a booklet of classic card game instructions and tarot keywords.
Illuminated: A Journal For Your Tarot Practice
This guided journal can be used with any tarot deck or tarot-inspired oracle deck. It includes 78 card interpretations and dot grid pages for writing, drawing, and notes. There are ideas for tarot spreads and journal prompts interspersed throughout.
The Illuminated Tarot Coloring Book
This book has color-able versions of the illustrations from The Illuminated Tarot. It includes keywords and card meanings for each illustration and space for notes alongside each card design. The introduction provides suggestions for finding inspiration to create your own color palettes and the thick paper holds up to a variety of media.
A challenging 1000-piece puzzle printed with gold metallic ink. The puzzle comes with a large poster that has the card keywords on the reverse side.
